Create AI flashcards: study faster with your own material
AI can turn a highlighted paragraph into a good study question in seconds. What matters is that the cards come from your material and aren’t made up. Here’s how it works in Aynora.
How Aynora creates AI flashcards
You upload a PDF and pick passages – or let Aynora suggest key passages (on Plus and Pro the AI picks the best ones). For each passage the AI gets the selected text plus the text of the page as context, and for graphics the selected part of the image. It’s instructed to stick to that content and not add anything.
Card types
- Question and answer – the classic for facts and explanations.
- Cloze – great for terms, formulas and numbers.
- Definition – term on the front, explanation on the back.
- List – for enumerations, steps and classifications.
- Why/how – for connections and processes.
- Multiple choice – with answer options, e.g. to simulate an exam.
Where to take a closer look
Every AI card is a suggestion. Check numbers, units and technical terms in particular before you save. Remove weak cards with one click, and duplicate good ones in another format with “Variant”. In subjects where details matter, this quick check is worth it.
Studying, not just creating
Cards only help if you review them. Aynora reschedules every card with spaced repetition: hard ones come back soon, easy ones less often. A daily goal and a streak help you keep going, and you can turn on push reminders.
On Pro and Tutor the voice teacher also quizzes you out loud and, if your answer is incomplete, gives you a hint and a second try.
Frequently asked questions
Does the AI make things up?
It’s instructed to stick to the selected content. Mistakes are still possible – that’s why you review every card before it goes into your deck.
Does it work with diagrams?
Yes. Draw a frame around the graphic and the AI reads that part of the image. On Pro, Aynora uses a stronger model for this.
Is it free?
Free includes 2 PDFs and 30 new cards a month, no credit card. More is available from €2.99 a month.
