Step by step

  1. 1Upload a PDF: Tap “Upload PDF” on the dashboard or under “My decks” and choose slides, a script or notes.
  2. 2Automatic detection: Aynora finds key passages and graphics (including drawn diagrams) automatically. With Plus/Pro the AI picks the best passages.
  3. 3Optional: Advanced: Under “Advanced” you choose pages and card types (incl. multiple choice), highlight your own passages or frame a graphic.
  4. 4Review cards: All cards are preselected. Edit them, remove weak ones or use “Variant” to add an extra card, e.g. as cloze or multiple choice.
  5. 5Save & study: Save the deck and start right away. Rate yourself with the buttons, keys 1–4 or by swiping; for multiple choice you pick an option first.
  6. 6Teacher & feedback: With Pro the voice teacher quizzes you out loud. Report bad cards via the feedback icon.

Frequently asked questions

Which PDFs work?

Scripts, lecture slides and notes as PDFs up to 20 MB; the first 50 pages of each file are read. It works best with PDFs whose text can be selected. For scanned pages without a text layer you can mark areas as a graphic – the AI then reads them from the image.

Is my data safe?

Your PDF is read directly in your browser and is not stored on our servers. To create cards, only the highlighted passages, the text of that page and marked graphics are sent to our AI provider. We store your account and your cards with Supabase. Details are in the privacy policy.

How good are the AI cards?

The AI writes short, precise questions and sticks to the highlighted content – it is told not to invent anything. Still, every card starts as a suggestion: you review and edit it, and only ticked cards go into your deck.

What does the voice teacher do?

On Pro and Tutor the voice teacher reads each question aloud with an AI voice, listens to your spoken answer and judges it. If it's incomplete you get a hint and a second try; then it tells you the answer and suggests a rating for the next review. Pro includes up to 300 teacher cards a month, Tutor 20 h of teacher time per billing month.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Plus, Pro and Tutor are monthly subscriptions with no minimum term. You cancel yourself under “Plans & limits” → “Manage subscription” (Stripe customer portal); your plan stays active until the end of the paid month. Free stays free.

What happens when I run out of my monthly allowance?

New cards and PDFs count per calendar month and reset at the start of each month. You can keep studying your existing cards at any time. On Plus or Pro you can also buy one-off add-on packs; on Free the way to get more is upgrading to Plus or Pro.
