Flashcards for medicine: from your slides, figures included
Medical school means a huge amount of material, much of it pure factual knowledge – exactly what flashcards with spaced repetition are made for. Aynora helps you create cards from your own lecture material instead of typing them up.
What helps in medical school
- Include figures: draw a frame around an anatomy diagram, a signalling cascade or a table – the AI creates a card from it. Pro uses a stronger model for this.
- Cloze cards for terms, doses or reference values.
- List cards for classifications, symptoms and differential diagnoses.
- Why/how cards for pathophysiology and mechanisms.
- Voice teacher for oral exams: have the question read aloud, answer out loud, get a hint.
Important: always check your cards
In medicine, details matter. The AI sticks to the selected content but can still make mistakes. So check every card – especially numbers, units and doses – before you save it. Your own material and your faculty’s requirements always take precedence.
What Aynora doesn’t replace
Aynora doesn’t offer ready-made question banks, past exam questions or community decks. It’s a tool for turning your own material into cards and reviewing them at the right intervals. For practising with question banks, keep using the platforms built for that.
Limits and prices
Medical school produces a lot of cards. Free (2 PDFs, 30 cards a month) is enough to try it; Pro (€5.99/month) allows 30 PDFs and 800 new cards a month plus up to 60 decks, and includes the voice teacher. If you need more, there are one-off add-on packs.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use scanned scripts?
Yes. If a page has no text layer, mark the area as a graphic; the AI then reads it from the image.
Are there ready-made medical decks?
No. Aynora creates cards from your own material.
How do I prepare for oral exams?
With the voice teacher on Pro and Tutor: it reads the question to you, listens to your answer and, if something is missing, gives you a hint and a second try.
